Catalogue

A record of scent creations

The Catalogue is held as a chronicle, bringing together a growing selection of scent compositions that have emerged within various sensory environments. These works arise in relation to specific moments and situations – often informed by art, nature, literature or memory. Such influences are held as atmospheres to attend to, inviting a sensory response.

Each entry presents a scent as a situated environment, recording how it occupies space, its intention for lived use, material selections and the context of their emergence. It is shared as a reference – a way of tracing how attentiveness and material listening support the emergence of scent, and how similar sensitivities might be cultivated elsewhere.

The Catalogue is currently arranged into six series that offer gentle points of orientation – attuned to qualities such as rhythm, place, and movement. Earlier works may be returned to, re-articulated, or allowed to rest. New entries appear slowly and continue to evolve.
